Being a collector and admirer of old lighting, it is a shame that some of the old antique lighting inside the buildings to be demolished at the former Kings Park Psychiatric Center can't be saved or salvage in some way. Many of the lights inside and around these buildings are antiques and collectors items. I would even love to be able given the opportunity to salvage some of them myself and/or share some with other collectors as well. YOU could also make money for the park by selling them and other neat items inside of these buildings on eBay as these lights are no longer produced and collectors on eBay would love to buy them.
Ever since I was a little kid, I especially loved the old fashioned green lamposts that have a metal ball at the top of the pole and a rounded support arm for the light fixture ;ocated at the former Laundry Building(?). I live out east in Ronkonkoma and would love one of these to light my backyard.
In any case, I just wanted to share these thoughts with you as in this day and age a dream such as this seldom comes true.

That is pretty scary, man. I will have to look into that and see, in case I need to fix this.
I think Johnette Napolitano was the lead singer for Concrete Blonde, which would make "him" a "her," although her voice is extremely deep and gravelly. I thought she was a he for some time.
