About Me

I have been writing stories ever since I was in kindergarten. I started out with my own comics, moving on to making short stories & poetry, then turning my stories into home movies using family & friends as actors. Recently, I have decided to turn my hobby into a profession by writing my own books. I hope to continue to make stories that I can turn into novels, while also writing about the real things that have affected my life such as my other hobbies, which include photography & investigating the paranormal.

That's pretty interesting. There is someone I know who was a patient there, too, but they sent me their story as an anonymous person. I still have no idea who it is, but I am using the story in the book along with info he helped provide.

I'm looking forward to your book "Kings Park Psychiatric Center: A Journey Through History." I recently found a family member in the 1920 and 1930 U.S. Census in KPPC. I knew two of her children yet neither of them ever spoke of her. I am hoping to learn some of what she endured as a patient there. After obtaining a copy of her death certificate, I was able to obtain a photo of her tombstone which I suspect was ordered by her children. A family "secret" no doubt.
